Bible Discussion on Monday 15th May at 6.30pm

On Monday 15th Cressida Pryor will lead our discussion at the usual time of 6.30pm. Cressida writes:

My topic is the 'Word' or the 'Logos' as at the beginning of John's Gospel and Genesis...

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning...

What does this mean? Is it about the beginning of consciousness, reason...language? How do folks understand this? Is it the 'big bang?'...How do the mystics, the Kabbalah, for example see it...?

Is there another way to describe this?
