First Bible discussion of the New Year. Monday 10th January at 6.30 p.m, will be led by Bill Darlinson. (The link will be open from about 6.15 p.m.)
He writes:
'Topic: 'Jesus Calms the Storm'
We'll be reading the story as told by Mark (Mk 4:35-41), comparing it (briefly) with Matthew's much shorter version (Mtt 8:23-27), and asking the question, 'What (if anything) does this story teach us about the spiritual life?'
If we have time, I hope to be able to introduce a completely new way of understanding this story.'
