Topic: We'll be carrying on the discussion we started last week on the stories of the birth of Jesus which can be found in Chapters 1-2 of Luke's Gospel and Chapters 1-2 of Matthew. I hope to look specifically at the account of Jesus's Virginal Conception and ask, Can it have any meaning for religious liberals? If we have time we could also look briefly at the Star of Bethlehem and consider whether current astronomical phenomena can give us a clue to its meaning in Matthew's Gospel.

All welcome. No need to be a Unitarian. No need to have attended previous meetings. Just bring an open mind, a spirit of tolerance, and a sense of humour.
