Discussion for Monday 12th October

This Monday's discussion is on Psalm 137 and will will be led by Bob Janis Dillon.

He writes:

"By the waters of Babylon, where we sat and wept..."

Psalm 137 contains a few lines of the most beautiful poetry in world literature...and ends with one of the most harrowing images you'll find anywhere. Are some of the psalms too abhorrent to be appreciated? If we let them, what do these lines stir in us, the 21st century reader? Come for an open discussion of this text of longing and angst. All welcome.
